【摘要】:ThispartofIEC61966definesthecolourgamutmetadataschemeforvideosystemsandsimilarapplications.Themetadatacanbeassociatedwithwidegamutvideocolourcontentortoapieceofequipmenttodisplaythecontent.Whenassociatedwithcontent,thecolourgamutmetadatadefinesthegamutforwhichthecontentwascreated.Itcanbeusedbythedisplayforcontrolledcolourreproductionevenifthedisplay’scolourgamutisdifferentfromthatofthecontent.Whenassociatedwithadisplay,thecolourgamutmetadatadefinesthedisplaycolourgamut.Itcanbeusedduringcontentcreationtoenableimprovedcolourreproduction.Thecolourgamutmetadatamaycoverassociatedcolourencodinginformation,whichincludesallinformationrequiredforacontrolledcolourreproduction,whensuchinformationisnotprovidedbythecolourencodingspecification.Thecolourgamutmetadataschemeprovidesscalablesolutions.Forexample,moreflexiblesolutionswillbeusedfortheprofessionaluse,whilemuchsimplersolutionswillbeusedforconsumerusewitheasierproductimplementation.ThispartofIEC61966onlydefinesthecolourgamutmetadatascheme.Vendor-specificsolutionsforcreationandend-useofthismetadataareallowed.
