【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversrequirementsfornon-pressurepolyolefinpipeandfittingsforcorrosivewastedrainagesystems.1.2PipeisproducedinSchedule40and80IPSsizesintwopolyolefins,polyethylene(PE)andpolypropylene(PP).1.3Theinterchangeabilityofpipeandfittingsmadebydifferentmanufacturersisnotaddressedinthisspecification.Transitionfittingsforjoiningpipeandfittingsofdifferentmanufacturersisprovidedforinthisspecification.1.4Pipeandfittingsarejoinedbytheheatfusionmethod(D2657andF1290)orbyusingmechanicaljointsrecommendedbythemanufacturer.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethod,Section8,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
