【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofcoatingmaterialssuchaspaintsandvarnishes,aswellascoatingspreparedfromthem.Itspecifiesatestmethodformeasuringat20°thereflectionhazeofpaintcoatings.Theuseofthisgeometrymeansthatthemethodiscloselyrelatedtothemeasurementofspecularglossat20°inISO2813.Theapplicationofthismethodisintendedtogiveimproveddifferentiationbetweenhigh-glosssurfaces,forexampleinthefieldofassessmentofdispersioncharacteristics.ThemethodisthereforeausefulcomplementtoISO8781-3whichusesspecularglossmeasurements.Fordecorativecoatings(e.g.automotivecoatings),reflectionhazeisalsoanimportantcriterioninevaluatingthequalityofthecoating,inadditiontocolourandspeculargloss.Theresultsobtainedoftendependonthefollowingpropertiesofthepaints:a)thebindersystemusedandthecompositionofthepaint;b)thewettinganddispersingpropertiesofthepigments;c)themethodofapplication;d)theorientationofthetestsamplewithrespecttotheplaneofmeasurement.
